Earlier this week, I had the most amazing sunset pregnancy announcement photo session out at the Bouquet Corral in Grand Ledge, Michigan. The talented Lansing makeup artist, Brittany Bendall, and her husband Josh are expecting their first baby in February 2025, and we wanted to capture their pregnancy announcement in a special way.

Even though there was a flood warning earlier in the day, the golden hour lighting was stunning, and we were able to capture some truly magical moments as the sun approached the horizon. Brittany’s makeup was flawless thanks to her own skills, and her husband Josh was beaming with excitement about their upcoming arrival. The love and joy that radiated from this couple was infectious, and it made my job as a Michigan family photographer an absolute dream.
