lover of genuine belly laughs and any excuse to travel
For as long as I can remember, I have loved photography! Every vacation with my parents, every event, I always had a camera in my hand! My dream almost disappeared with the fear of competition just a couple years in, but then I was asked to photograph my first wedding!
There's nothing like being the fly on the wall at a wedding and witnessing all that love, firsthand. My passion for the craft has been alive in me since I was a child, and capturing life as it goes by brings me immeasurable joy! What I love most about photography is the ability to capture someone's personality and the responsibility of freezing a single moment in time.

"Michelle is a talented photographer with great attention to detail. Her professionalism is top notch and she was an absolute joy to work with. She is one of the nicest people I know! Michelle photographed my parents 40th Anniversary party and I couldn't be more happy with how the pictures turned out! She truly captured the essence of our party with her photos. If you are looking for a photographer, you NEED to call Michelle Lippert!"
"Michelle worked her magic this past weekend alone without a second shooter and she hustled to get all the necessary shots along with great detail shots! She has a great personality and an eye for her profession."

included with every wedding package
While many things about a wedding are optional (except, of course, the marriage license), engagement photos are something that I believe are a must! It gives us the perfect opportunity for you to get familiar with my style of direction and me the opportunity to get to know the two of you on a deeper level, as well as showcasing your personality as a couple! Engagement sessions are a practice round for your wedding day, but more casual, lighthearted, and fun. Don't forget, you're welcome to do MORE than one!
What to wear, making sure your hair falls the right way and timing the perfect lighting are all important parts of what I do, but my key role is to capture the essence that makes you unique as a couple.
The best part of engagements that I've seen from a photographers aspect, as well as on the other side of the camera during my own engagement, is to have nice photos of the two of you instead of just all the cute selfies in your phones. PLUS, you can use these photos for your save the dates!

Who do you use as a second photographer?
My second shooters are reliable, fun and professionals that provide high quality images. We've worked together on multiple weddings and events, and have a great personal and working relationship. When looking at your gallery, you won't be able to tell their images from mine especially since I will be putting the final touches on all of your images.
What's your favorite part of photographing weddings?
Aside from getting to know my couples and and their stories during the booking process: I love first looks and capturing their family as it grows, but my absolute favorite part of weddings is when the officiant talks to the couple about how they've already committed to each other up to the point of marriage. Watching the couples' faces as they exchange rings and say their vows, these are the moments that I have to keep tears from my eyes.
