Last weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Michelle and Justin’s absolutely beautiful June wedding reception at Royal Scot in Lansing, Michigan. Can you believe that even with over 200 guests, the whole affair still felt so intimate? The highlight of the day was definitely their adorable 9-month-old daughter who stole the show during their first dance. It was so sweet to see her as the center of attention, especially since many of the guests hadn’t met her yet.
The entire day was full of love and joy, and it was made even more special by the fact that it took place on Michelle and Justin’s 6th dating anniversary and exactly one year after they tied the knot. The first look on the golf course was truly magical, with Michelle absolutely radiating in her gown from Becker’s Bridal and Justin looking sharp in his suit from Men’s Wearhouse.
Following the first look, we spent time capturing the family and even got some updated photos for each family.
I feel so lucky to have been a part of their wedding reception and to have captured all the beautiful moments. Being a Lansing wedding photographer means I get to witness some of life’s most precious moments, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Here’s to many more love-filled weddings in the future!
